In the next edition of the trade fair, a new sector will be introduced, dedicated to pet foods and dietary supplements. This sector will encompass both veterinary and non-veterinary foods, with a distinction between complete and complementary foods within the latter category.
Complete foods are balanced products containing full supplementation, which can serve as the foundation of a pet’s daily diet. Complementary foods, on the other hand, are intended as adqditions to the diet, enriching it with extra nutrients.
From a technological standpoint, the sector will showcase a variety of food forms: from dry (including extruded, air-dried, and cold-pressed), to semi-moist, wet, frozen, and even freeze-dried, which, while less popular in Poland due to their cost, are gaining significance due to their unique properties.
Visitors to the trade fair will have the opportunity to explore a range of pet treats, single-serve food packaging, and canned foods. Special emphasis will be placed on products for dogs and cats, although there will also be offerings for other pets.
The new sector will also include dietary supplements for animals, such as vitamins and minerals, which will be showcased under the NutraFood Poland brand. This segment aims to support the health and well-being of pets by providing essential nutrients that may be challenging to obtain from their daily diet.
